The data is derived from the latest nationwide OES survey conducted by the U.S. Department of Labor. The Database also provides 733 occupational profiles. Each profile contains 60 criterion-related factors which are derived from the Dictionary of Occupational Titles. <P> The profiles in the Wage and Employment Database can be compared to an individual's Worker Qualification Profile to produce match-lists. A variety of search methods are provided, including exact searches and best-fit searches. <P> Wage and employment data are provided for each occupation by state, by the U.S. as a whole, and by 350+ MSAs (Metropolitan Statistical Areas).
