Wolfson Children's Hospital (WCH) is a regional referral hospital
serving children and is the only children's hospital in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.
Our staff and physicians believe children have special healthcare needs, and they cannot be treated as
little adults. The hospital's facilities, equipment and staff are oriented toward children. A team
approach that extends from physicians to nurses to technicians and the rest of the hospital staff
creates a family-like atmosphere for patients, enhancing the care they receive. Our physicians are
dedicated professionals in fields from virtually all medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties.
In 2003, Child magazine rated Wolfson as one of America's best children's hospitals.
The hospital contact person for the Endowment is Roslyn Meinert. The Maltese family will retain control over how the funds are spent.
