Bass rock in the Firth of Forth. It's covered with, you guessed it,
bird poop, and can be seen many miles away.
Geologists say it is the core of a volcano. The constant traffic of
bickering Gannets crowds the top of Bass rock. The rock once
housed political and religious prisoners. Go to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bass_Rock for more information.
For views of the birds by remote interactive cameras visit
the Scottish Seabird Centre at North Berwick or

The old Firth of Forth bridge was being worked on during our visit there. We didn't
get a good photo, so visit this site
for photos and information. The bridge connects North Queensferry and Queensferry.
A few more photos will be added to this site in the next
few months. Please come back and visit!
