CareerTEK uses Valpar's Magellan technology to teach students about career
possibilities directly related to ScanTEK modules. In addition, CareerTEK offers
academic skills assessment and a pictorial interest survey - with sound - to help
students learn more about themselves, and to have more tools to explore CareerTEK's
occupational database.
CareerTEK easily integrates into ScanTEK as a module that provides specific
and open-ended activities.
System Requirements - CareerTEK 6
- Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista (CareerTek version 6.08 or later)
- 300 MHZ Pentium or better
- 128 MB of RAM (512 minimum for Vista)
- 50 MB of disk space for basic software and database
- Audio instructions require 200 MB of disk space and must reside on the hard drive to be accessible.
- SVGA (800x600, small fonts)
- 12X CD-ROM or DVD
- Internet access required for software authorization. (Upon request: non-USB floppy drive can be used.) (Vista: authorization is Internet only)
- Networks on Windows NT or 200x, and Novell 3 or higher
