Description: The Spatial Aptitude exercise assesses the top 3 levels of APT-S. The evaluee is presented with a series of two-dimensional drawings that could fold into a three-dimensional object. The evaluee must select the proper object from a group of three-dimensional projections.
The Non-Verbal Reasoning exercise assesses the top three levels of GED-R. The evaluee is presented with a series of 3x3 grids. Eight of the cells contain geometric pictures that bear some relationship to one another. The evaluee must choose from a list the item that best completes the grid.
Each exercise takes 15 minutes and can be administered independently. They are especially useful in augmenting the results of a screening assessment, such as COMPASS, when it is necessary to further evaluate higher levels of GED-R and APT-S.
