Pro3000 Local Job Database

Description: The Local Job Database (LJDB) simplifies the process of taking job orders by placing the power of the U.S. Department of Labor's job analysis method on your computer. This method, described in the DOL's Revised Handbook for Analyzing Jobs (RHAJ), is the same method used in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT) to describe over 12,000 jobs in the U.S. economy. The LJDB gives you three ways to easily use the RHAJ job-task analysis method to fully describe local jobs and save them in a database that can be searched by any combination of factors. In addition, jobs can be identified with a particular company and you can define your own custom factors to augment the job analysis, as well as enter notes about the analysis process plus incumbent worker interview information. You can also specify which factors are the essential functions of the job. The LJDB is fully integrated in Pro3000, so if you have the DOT Database, you can use its job profiles as a starting point.

Typical Uses: Maintain an up-to-date database of local jobs, using a standardized job order method appropriate for job placement and employment screening.
