Pro3000 Competencies Database

Description:

The Competencies Database details the top growth jobs in the U.S. economy as they were recently defined by authoritative sources such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics and Money Magazine. Professional job analysts worked closely with industry to organize over 140 DOT jobs into 40 Job Clusters, using over 15,000 specific competencies or work tasks.

Each person in the Pro3000 People Database can be assigned a job (or training program) from the Competencies Database, and the system will record progress through the competency list. Results can be entered as pass-fail, grade scores, or percents. Report options will print detailed information as well as summaries of performance.

The Competencies Database can be easily modified so you can add your own Cluster-Jobs-Tasks. There are also automatic links to the Career Planner and DOT Databases, so competency lists can be included in reports from those modules.

The generalized three-level structure of the Competencies Database is ideal for defining Training Programs as collections of courses, each requiring mastery of certain competencies.
