Description: The Wage and Employment Database provides wage and employment information for over 400 geographic areas. The data is derived from the latest nationwide OES survey conducted by the U.S. Department of Labor. The Database also provides 733 occupational profiles. Each profile contains 60 criterion-related factors which are derived from the Dictionary of Occupational Titles.
The profiles in the Wage and Employment Database can be compared to an individual's Worker Qualification Profile to produce match-lists. A variety of search methods are provided, including exact searches and best-fit searches.
Wage and employment data are provided for each occupation by state, by the U.S. as a whole, and by 350+ MSAs (Metropolitan Statistical Areas). Selected data can be included on reports in this and other Pro3000 modules.
Typical Uses: Career Assessment, Counseling, and Job Seeking.
