Description: The Career Planner Module provides a job cluster database, using the Standard Occupational Classification Code (SOC) structure. The database contains a composite Qualifications Profile derived from the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT) for each of the 500+ SOC codes. A person's current and potential skill levels are used to search the database and produce three lists of matches - those SOCs currently within the person's abilities, those SOCs potentially within the person's abilities assuming a small amount of improvement, and those SOCs that are well in advance of the person's abilities but that are within reach with suitable education and training.

Specific SOC codes can be related to local school or training program curricula, which can be printed as part of the report. The report writing process is very flexible and provides the ability to tailor reports to specific uses.
