VTES, developed by Valpar International, a leading producer of work-related ability assessment products for over 25 years, is the first criterion-referenced product on the market that gives you both an academic grade level score AND Department of Labor work-related GED Language and Math scores. VTES English and Math are criterion-referenced, time-limited, power tests of the basic language and math skills essential to success in the workplace. The tests are appropriate for individuals of working age (15 years and over).

With high levels of reliability (internal consistency and alternate form) and several forms of construct validity, VTES can be used whenever English and math skills need to be assessed. Job training, welfare-to-work, employee selection and adult education are a few of the programs that can benefit from VTES.

VTES Math and English tests are available in two parallel test forms that each take approximately one hour to administer. Tests are scored with computer software provided free with the purchase of test answer sheets. Computer generated reports indicate grade level scores and GED levels, and can be customized to meet your needs.
